Desert Meets The Sea

IS there no end to the wonders that Josephine Lennon can produce?

The vision of this layering of these bands of colour leaves a mesmerising effect in the mind that lingers long after viewing. The dots surge like beads of salt foam in between the rivers of carefully chosen colour.

As in all her work there is a sharply considered quality to this painting through the many dimensions it inhabits. The browns of the desert are beaten back by the greens and the blues, the purples and the subtle reds add a depth that echoes beyond the canvas with the wave line pushing forward as it does.

There is a harmony here that is often so difficult to achieve.
