Thorny Devil Dreaming

THE granddaughter of artist Margaret Scobie, Jacinda is renowned for her Bush Medicine depictions. She started telling the story of the Thorny Devil after her famous artist aunt, Gloria Petyarre, began teaching her the story. Thorny Devil Dreaming sees Jacinda continue to develop her own unique painting style, where she weaves a mass and depth of colour all by the concentration of circular brush strokes.
