VANESSA Nungarrayi Charles is yet another artist to hail from Yuendumu, the NT community about 300km north-west from Alice Springs.
Vanessa has often painted Emu Dreaming along with medicine leave stories. Her work here on Waterholes is done with a deliberate monochrome palette, where Vanessa achieves a luminous depth rarely seen.
